O’Keefe Exposes DoD Official’s Backing of Gun Confiscation

(BrightPress.org) – James O’Keefe of O’Keefe Media Group released a video on March 13th of a Department of Defense employee saying the Second Amendment should be repealed.

O’Keefe went undercover to meet with Jason Beck, Associate Director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Beck used the alias Aiden Grey in the meetings with O’Keefe. In a video of the meetings, Beck can be heard saying the Second Amendment should be repealed, all guns should be taken away from private American citizens and only the government should have guns. Beck even suggested the National Guard should be mobilized to remove guns from the hands of American citizens.

According to Beck, the National Guard should be responsible for confiscating privately owned firearms from tens of millions of American citizens, even if the citizen soldiers disagree with the order.

Beck was also recorded saying border security “doesn’t mean anything”, since there is “no Taliban coming in through Mexico,” and indicated the United States should “tear down the wall” and have an “open border.” The video shows Beck making gestures to indicate quotation marks when saying “border security,” as he said border security is a waste of resources because the problem “doesn’t really exist.”

Earlier that same week, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Director Christopher Wray told a Senate panel that “dangerous individuals” were entering the United States at the border. Wray emphasized the threat, noting that over the past two years, the amount of fentanyl seized at the border by the FBI was enough to kill 270 million people.

During these undercover meetings, Beck made several more controversial statements. He said the Senate should be banned and the Supreme Court needs to be “packed.”

O’Keefe made a separate post on X before the video was released detailing Beck’s role at the Pentagon. Beck works for the office that oversees the Department of Defense.
