Rand Paul Reveals America’s “Greatest Threat”

(BrightPress.org) – Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) warned viewers of Fox’s “The Ingraham Angle” that the greatest threat to the country and national security is outrageous, uncontrolled spending by Democrats and allied Republicans. He said the nonstop printing and borrowing of cash was devaluing our currency and threatening the existence of the nation.

He cited the run-up to the war in Iraq and how warmongers then demanded everyone line up and agree with the need for a unanimous front. He said then, as now, they refused to debate the issues and instead prefer to send hundreds of billions overseas as if there was no alternative.

Ingraham played a clip of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) demanding approval for President Joe Biden’s $106 billion aid package which sends $60 billion to Ukraine, $14.3 billion to Israel, and a further $20 billion to cover Taiwan and the southern border crisis. The clip shows Jeffries urge compliance “in totality and without delay,” meaning no debates or changes to Joe Biden’s wish list.

Ingraham implied that the move would heavily benefit American defense contractors like Raytheon. She also pointed out that House Republicans did not stand and cheer during Jeffries’s speech. They remained seated. Rand seemed more interested in Speaker Mike Johnson than the Republican caucus. He suggested there were “big government Republicans” who were more than willing to cooperate with Democrats.

Paul anticipates Johnson will “put the kibosh” on any more massive cash dumps for Ukraine. He also pointed out that any additional spending will necessarily be printed out of thin air or borrowed as there isn’t any budget surplus due to years of out-of-control government spending.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice under George W. Bush were committed to bundling things together, just like Joe Biden wants, according to Ingraham. She commented on the two having a lunch date. Ingraham also highlighted that the “axis of evil” rhetoric was popular during GWB’s term in getting the nation to go along with the expanded ‘war on terror’ against Islamic terrorists in the years following 9/11.

Paul said that the only thing Israel and Ukrainian wars have in common is their ability to bankrupt the United States.
